Will learning two languages delay my child's speech?
No. Research shows bilingual children reach language milestones at the same time as monolingual children. They may have slightly smaller vocabularies in each individual language, but their total vocabulary (both languages combined) is the same or larger. Mixing languages is normal and temporary.
