The Problem
Walks are stressful and recall is a suggestion.
🦮
Pulling, jumping, and a recall that only works indoors

The dog knows 'sit' in the kitchen and nothing at the park — because practising in a quiet room isn't the same as learning.

📱
Half the advice online is decades out of date

Dominance theory, alpha rolls, shock collars. The field moved on from all of it; the internet didn't, and the old methods actively make some dogs worse.

💸
Trainers charge $100–250 a session

A good one is worth it, especially for serious problems. For everyday obedience, most of what they teach is a structure you can follow yourself.

🐕
Breed changes what works

A collie bred to take direction and a hound bred to follow scent independently need different approaches — and different expectations about off-lead reliability.

Questions
Everything you need to know.
What if my dog is aggressive or has bitten someone?
Then this isn't the right tool, and it says so rather than selling you a module. Aggression toward people or dogs, any bite history, and guarding with teeth need a qualified behaviourist assessing your dog in person — someone reading body language live — and often a vet too. A protocol applied wrongly to a dog that has bitten puts somebody at risk, so it refers you out instead.
What methods does it use?
Reward-based only. No prong or shock collars, no alpha rolls, no dominance framing — that model was discarded by the field decades ago, and tools built on it work by causing fear. It also won't tell you to punish growling, because a growl is the warning that comes before anything worse, and suppressing it leaves the feeling while removing the notice.
How does the personalization work?
You enter breed, age, what they already know, the three behaviours that matter most, how long you can train and what actually motivates them. That last one decides everything — a plan built around treats fails on a dog who'd rather have the tennis ball.
My dog's behaviour changed suddenly. Is that training?
Probably not, and the toolkit checks for it first. A dog that has become irritable, reluctant to move, or snappy when touched is often in pain, and pain gets mistaken for disobedience constantly. That's a vet visit before any training plan.
Will my dog be reliable off-lead?
Honestly, that depends on the dog. The recall programme is thorough — indoors, garden, long line, then systematic distraction — but it also says plainly that some dogs, particularly scent hounds and certain working breeds, may never be reliable off-lead in open ground. Pretending otherwise is how dogs get lost.
Does it work for adult and rescue dogs?
Yes. Age isn't the barrier people think — rescue dogs often learn quickly once the household is predictable. What changes is the starting point and the pace, and the plan is built from what your dog knows now rather than from a puppy baseline.
