The Problem
A full cupboard and nothing to eat.
🗑️
Food goes off at the back where nobody sees it

It isn't carelessness. It's a tin behind a packet behind a box, and nothing that can't be seen gets used in time.

🤔
'What should I make for dinner?' — every single night

You look at a full pantry and can't assemble a meal from it, so the delivery app wins again.

🛒
You buy the same thing three times

Chickpeas behind the pasta behind the flour. If you can't see it, you buy it again — and that's a storage problem, not a memory one.

💸
Unplanned shopping trips cost more

Going in without a list means impulse buys and duplicates, and the small trips add up faster than the big shop does.

Questions
Everything you need to know.
How does the personalization work?
You enter household size, dietary needs, what you actually cook, how often you shop and your pantry size. A fortnightly shopper needs a different staples list from someone popping out every few days, and a small cupboard needs a different layout from a walk-in.
How does it decide what to throw away?
Accurately, which matters in both directions. A 'best before' date is about quality — a lot of what people bin is still perfectly good, and that's the waste this is meant to prevent. A 'use by' date is a safety date and isn't negotiable. Anything in a bulging, leaking or badly dented tin goes regardless of the date, without opening it.
My pantry is tiny. Does this still work?
Small spaces benefit most, because visibility is the whole problem and there's less room to hide things at the back. The zone layout is built from your actual shelves, and the advice is to buy containers last — once you've purged, most people need less storage than they assumed.
Will this really save money?
The savings come from two ordinary places: not buying a third jar of something you already own, and not ordering delivery because the cupboard looked unusable. Both are real, and neither depends on a spreadsheet. How much depends entirely on how much you were wasting before.
What if I don't cook much?
Then the staples list gets shorter and leans on things that assemble rather than cook. The point isn't to turn you into a cook — it's that when you do want to eat at home, it's possible without a trip to the shop first.
Does it handle allergies?
Yes. Name the allergy and the ingredient is excluded completely from the staples list and every meal, with a note on where it commonly hides in tinned and packaged food. The label is always the final word — the plan makes the shopping easier, it doesn't make the safety call.
