Can I use this during an actual emergency?
Ring the vet or emergency clinic first, and put them on speaker. Then use the emergency prompt while you're on hold or on the way — it gives you the immediate actions and, more importantly, what not to do. It's built to say 'go now' rather than to reassure you into waiting, and it can't see your animal.
Does this replace a vet?
No, and it never pretends to. What it does is make the twenty minutes around an emergency useful ones: knowing who to ring, what to do while you travel, what to bring, and which instincts to override. The call to a professional is always step one.
Should I make my pet vomit if they eat something?
Not unless a vet has just told you to, for that specific substance, right then. With corrosives and petroleum products it causes a second round of burns on the way back up, and in an animal that's collapsed, seizing or struggling to breathe it can be fatal. Hydrogen peroxide is not safe in cats. Ring a vet or poison line with the packaging in hand instead.

Does it teach pet CPR?

I have multiple pets. Do I need to buy it twice?
